Step 1 - Create an account

To start a server, you will need an account. Those are very easy to create: First you must enter on "https://aternos.org/signup/". There you can choose a username (You cannot choose one that is already in use).

Next, you'll need to create a password. Then, you can repeat it. You can also connect to your Google account for the same password. MINECRAFT CRAFTING

Step 2: Create your server.

Once you are logged in, you can start creating your server. You can start by pressing the "+ Add a Server" button.

You can now add a name and description to your server, or you can use the default settings. (NOTE: Make sure the Java Edition option is activated, otherwise the tutorial will not work!)

Step 3 - Configure your server.

SETTING UP OUR SERVER IS ESSENTIAL BEFORE YOU OPERATED IT. This is a tricky part, so I recommend you read the steps multiple times.

To start go to the left side of the screen, there should be a menu with different sections. Click on "Options".

We see a small menu that allows us to modify everything from Step 2. Add an image to our server, purchase a custom domain, and then restart all server files.

Below is a larger menu with the basic settings. These are:

- Max Players - Changes the limit of players that can enter the server. - Gamemode- Changes the default gamemode for spawn. - Difficulty- Changes the difficulty level in the world. Whitelist - Toggle the list of verified players. - Cracked- Toggle if you allow non-premium members to join your server (Skins will not be disabled). - PvP - Toggle if users can battle. - Command blocks - Check if the command block is available. - Flight- Toggle to see if users can fly. - Animals - Toggle if passive creatures can spawn around the world. - Monsters - Toggle if agressive creatures can spawn around the world. - NPCs- Seek out if villager spawn anywhere in the globe. - Nether - Toggle if Nether can be accessible. Force Gamemode – Toggle if a specific gamemode is required.
