Minecraft is a game that you should play with your friends. Sometimes, you'll be all mucking into creating something amazing, sometimes you'll be using mods to recreate Elden Ring, and at times you'll be exploring servers online to see what the internet has to offer. Sometimes, things can get messy when you play online with strangers. This is exactly what the most recent Minecraft snapshot aims to address.

Minecraft snapshot 22W24A is out now, and it's building towards 1.19.1 by adding a few bug fixes and two new features. Chat reporting is the most important feature. This allows you to report abusive messages in game chat. The blog says that "any reports made during testing times may not be processed," but that it is important to recognize that toxic players are a major part of any online game. This could be an important step.

Chat reporting is accessible in the social interactions screen and you'll be required to report the individual chat messages along with picking an appropriate category for them, too. This will help stop abuse of the system. You can't make a general report about an individual user. You must state what they did. The blog says that your report will be scrutinized by a moderator. It's impossible to know what constitutes a real and actionable report at this point however it's worthwhile to learn all about it.

Outside of that another major change is that the wonderful Minecraft allay is now able to be duplicated. It is possible to duplicate it by providing them with an amethyst shard, however duplicates have a 2.5-minute cooldown. This will help ease the stress about how many mobs of allay there are. Plus there's always more of the cute thing, right? Igralni

In more non-official news, we're hugely fond of this Mario Kart mod for Minecraft. It adds in the karts we've all played and love, and adds some amazing aquatic features, too.
